Generally speaking, in the process of aluminium fabrication, the material is most commonly extruded. This means that the aluminium is pushed through a die to shape or reshape the product. This can be done using both heating and cooling methods, by which the metal is heated to become flexible or cooled to enable the shaping of the product at room temperature.

Aluminium is lightweight

Aluminium is a lightweight material that can be applied to a wide variety of products. However, when bent or moved in certain ways, it can be found to be a fairly sharp metal that can break easily. This is why it must be handled carefully with skilled hands in order to form it the way that is intended through aluminium fabrication. As well as this, aluminium is resistant to corrosion, which makes it a durable material in this sense.

ALUMINIUM IS EXTREMELY ADAPTABLE

Once aluminium fabricators create the finished parts, a further process of grinding, shaping and cutting is enabled so that the parts meet a specific need. Some of the most common uses of aluminium would be vehicle and bicycle components and window frames.

Due to aluminium’s ability to be reshaped and cut quite easily, it is an extremely adaptable product that can be applied to a vast number of functions. Another advantage of using aluminium is that it is 100% recyclable, making it a cost-effective and an environmentally friendly option.
